Pet Costume Tips When you put a costume on your pet, there are a few things you want to check. The costume should not interfere with the dogs vision, hearing or breathing. Masks are not recommended.

Check the fit around the costume, especially around the neckline, to make sure it is not too tight. If your making the costume yourself, use a lightweight fabric to help keep your pet from over-heating. Don't use any beads, loose dangling accessories or other small objects that can be chewed and swallowed or be a choking hazard.

Make sure your pets costume does not drag the floor, you want your pet to be able to walk around without stepping on it.
