Have Urine Smell Problems In Your House?
Urine smells can be a difficult problem to eliminate in your home. However
there are products that can help.
Unsealed concrete floors: Pet urine can seep in and be absorbed. Clean with a
disinfectant and allow it to seep into the floor. Rinse with water and allow
to dry completely. You will want to seal it so that liquids won't be absorbed
in the future. Concrete sealant is widely available at hardware stores.
Sealed Concrete and Linoleum: Disinfectants for these surfaces can be purchased
from your local pet supply stores or your veterinarian.
Carpet: Probably the most difficult to clean is carpet. You will need to pull up
the carpet and replace the padding. The carpet itself can be cleaned with an
enzymatic cleaner. These can be purchased from your local pet supply store or
from professional carpet cleaners.
